Baked Boursin cheese in Puff Pastry

From Mr PB&C's stepmom.

10 oz boursin cheese
1 sheet puff pastry
1 apple finely diced
1 egg
1 tbs cream or half and half

Roll out puff pastry until it's half as thin as it was originally.
Place cheese on top of the pastry and sprinkle with apple and black pepper to taste.
Wrap the cheese with the pastry and seal the edges with the egg, beaten with the cream.
Place seam side down on a baking dish and refrigerate.
Preheat oven to 400 and brush the top with the egg wash again.
Cook until golden brown.
To serve, pour over a little reduced balsamic vinegar and serve with crackers.
