Creamy vegetable rotini

Another comfort food.
1 lbs dry rotini or other spiral type pasta
1 1/2 c. broccoli florets
1 1/2 c. cauliflower florets
2 medium carrots cut into strips
1 can cream of mushroom soup
5 oz cream cheese with or without chives
1 c. milk
2/3 c. grated parmesan cheese
2 tbs dijon mustard
1/8 tsp black pepper

Cook the pasta according to directions adding the vegetables in the last 5 minutes of cooking, then drain.
In the same saucepan stir the soup and cream cheese together and add milk, parmesan cheese, mustard and pepper over low heat, stirring often.
Add pasta and veggies and heat through and serve.

Toddler review-
Two cleared their plates and the other said it was really good dinner. I think we'll make this again. We use whole wheat pasta and a bunch of broccoli and carrots and skipped the cauliflower.
