Salsa Verde
Adapted from Pimp my Dinner
8 or more tomatillos
3-6 cloves of garlic
2 jalepenos (whole)
Salt
¼ bunch cilantro
Toast peeled and quartered tomatillos, garlic and seeded and deveined jalapenos for a few minutes with a little oil over medium high heat.
Bring pot of water to a boil. Boil tomatillos, peeled whole cloves and jalapeños until tomatillos begin to soften but not mushy.
Remove from the water and place in a blender and add cilantro and salt to taste.
Pulse until smooth.
