Thanksgiving updates

Going to give an update each night (hopefully) about what we're doing for Thanksgiving dinner. Trying to do some things ahead of time so we're not on our feet all day Thursday. Mr PB&C is working Black Friday this year which means he'll be early to bed and early to rise.

We've been drying some bread since Saturday for our home made stuffing - cornbread, wheat bread and English muffin bread. Some of it was dry already and I tore them up into small pieces. The cornbread needs another day but then it's into the bag with the rest of the bread.

Tonight I cut 4 stalks of celery, 2 large carrots and a medium onion into a small dice. I cooked in a large fry pan with a teeny bit of olive oil, salt, sage and thyme over medium low heat until soft. These will go into the stuffing on Wednesday night.
