Sangria

This makes enough for a crowd so invite a lot of friends or tone down the amounts, from an old family friend.

Sliced oranges, lemons, limes, chopped apple, peaches, cherries, plums whatever you like really

In a small sauce pan, combine 1 c. brandy and 1 c. sugar and cook over low heat until the sugar melts and pour over the fruit.
Combine 1/2 liter each Rose wine and Burgundy and chill, at least a few hours.
