Honey Mustard Turkey Burgers
From Eating Well.
1/4 c. coarse-grained mustard
2 tbs honey
1 pound ground turkey breast
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper
2 tsp canola oil
4 whole-wheat hamburger rolls, split and toasted
Lettuce, tomato slices and red onion slices, for topping
Prepare a grill.
Whisk mustard and honey in a small bowl until smooth (note to future me, don't put it all into the burger)
Combine turkey, 4 tablespoons of the mustard mixture, salt and pepper in a bowl; mix well.
Form into four burgers.
Lightly brush the burgers on both sides with oil.
Grill until no pink remains in center, 5 to 7 minutes per side.
Add reserved mustard dressing to the sides of the bun.
Serve on rolls with lettuce, tomato and onion slices.
Toddler review-
When Mr. PB&C brought them in from the grill, the pickiest toddler exclaimed, "Mmmmm, that smells good!" This was a very good sign. All three toddlers ate their burgers that night.
