Buttermilk waffles

 From King Arthur

2 eggs

vanilla

8 tbs butter, melted and slightly cooled

1 3/4 c or 397 g buttermilk 

1 3/4 c or 210 g AP flour 

1/2 c or 48 g almond flour

2 tbs of 25 g sugar * 

2 tsp baking powder

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt


In a large bowl mix the eggs, vanilla, butter, and buttermilk until combined

In another bowl mix the flours, sugar, baking powder, and baking soda and whisk together

Mix the dry ingredients into the wet and stir until just combined, it was kinda thick for us today but it turned out well

Lightly spray your waffle iron before the first one, we did not need to reapply the spray again 


*leave out the sugar if you want to use them for savory dishes
