Cedar planked grilled salmon
We don't eat a lot of fish, but when we eat salmon, we eat this one! If you have leftovers, use them to make Salmon Cheddar Quiche.
Soak your cedar planks in water for 2-3 hours before cooking (we found ours at our favorite little hardware store because they have everything. Check out the big box hardware stores as well.)
Lay your trimmed, skin on fish, skin side down on the plank
Check for bones before adding generous salt and pepper to your fish
Top with a generous layer of dijon mustard and then top with brown sugar
Prepare your grill with indirect heat and grill for 20 minutes if your filets are thin, 25-30 if they are not, keep a spray bottle near the grill and spray the flare ups.
