Life happened
It's been a while, blog readers. With the holidays came, lots of friends and even more family.
Some highlights in no particular order
Pork over rice and chicken over rice, recipes coming soon but be warned, it's full of "until it's done" and "add ingredients until it tastes right")
Crispy potatoes made with duck fat
The best raclette mushrooms I've made, even one of the girls loved it!
Espresso and frothed milk anytime I want it, no need to leave the house
And more pizza than you shake a stick at
This week we have a lot of milk and celery (3 bunches!) to use up. And with that note, we're making
Ham and corn chowder
Macaroni and cheese
Biscuits and gravy
Grilled cheese and tomato soup
Spaghetti with sausage
Pork over rice
Fend
We are having a GTG with friends tomorrow and we're making
Burgers and hot dogs
potato salad
and green beans with celery
For the freezer,
adding some marinara
Black bean burgers
And for lunch for me
Thai coconut and curry soup
