Easy parmesan orzo
Combine 1 cup of orzo
with 2 cups of broth
2 chopped cloves of garlic
salt and pepper
Bring to a boil and then simmer until the orzo is done (guessing 6-8 minutes)
When the pasta is done turn off the heat and add
1/4 cup heavy cream or half and half
as much parmesan as you would like
and chopped chives or parsley

We doubled and had some for leftovers/later lunches
If you've got a little extra time you can saute the garlic with some chopped onion and then toast the pasta before adding the broth.
