Sourdough discard brownies

 We have a lot of discard.  We bake a lot of sourdough.  Rinse and repeat.

Preheat your oven to 350

In a small bowl combine 

3/4 cup AP flour

1 1/4 cup sugar

1/2 cup cocoa powder

1/2 tsp salt

In a large pot melt

1 stick of butter over medium heat

Remove from heat and add 1 cup chocolate chips

1 tbs vanilla extract

Stir until all the chocolate is melted 

Add in the dry ingredients and stir to combine 

Add in 2 rggs and 1/2 cup sourdough discard and stir again until combined

Put into a lined and greased 9 X 9 inch pan and bake until a toothpick comes out clean, about 40- 45 minutes
