Kohlrabi Slaw
This is kohlrabi. It kinda tastes like cabbage or broccoli stem. I posted last week that we were going to try it as a slaw and serve with pulled pork sandwiches. The toddlers ate it as a side and adults put it on their sandwiches. I would have never guessed it wasn't a traditional cabbage slaw. I made some adjustments from the original recipe by The Food in my beard on Tablespoon to cut out the heat and to leave out the scallions as toddler don't like 'em.
8 Small Kohlrabi
1 Large Carrot
5 Radishes
2 Tablespoons Chopped dill
1 Bunch Scallions
For the dressing-
1/2 Cup Mayo
1/2 Cup Sour Cream
2 Tablespoons Mustard
1 Tablespoon Cider Vinegar
dash of cayenne pepper
Peel carrots and kohlrabi and then shred them with the carrots and radish.
Toss everything with the dressing.
