Turkish pasta
From the clock app. This is a fake manti recipe, one that has tiny little square shaped dumplings filled with meat in a tomato sauce but in a cheater fashion This was excellent and such a great weeknight dinner. There are no written proportions but this is what we did tonight.
"I don't know why the world doesn't know more about the deliciousness that is yogurt garlic sauce"
1 lbs ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 tbs beef base
salt
white pepper
1 lbs cooked shapey pasta, we used mini farfalle
3/4 c (?) Greek yogurt
2-3 grated cloves of garlic
generous salt
1 stick of butter
6 oz tomato paste
Brown your ground beef with the onion until almost done
Add in your beef base and combine
Add salt and white pepper to taste
Boil up your pasta until done saving 1/2 c of pasta water
While the other things cook mix up the yogurt, garlic, and salt
In a small pot melt the butter and add in the tomato paste, mixing until well combined
Add in pasta water until you get "the right" consistency (I don't know either, I've never had it before)
To serve, layer-
pasta
ground beef mixture
yogurt dressing
tomato butter sauce
dried mint
