yummy!! does your CSA chop up rhubarb for you? that's awesome! check out some rhubarb sauce for ice cream, yogurt, toast, etc. topping. OMG, so delish. wish we still had rhubarb. i'll take a pic of our bounty this week cause it will be fun to compare. we have broccoli growing in our garden. so fun. BTw, your collards look a lot like a variety of kale that we get. could they be the same thing? based on what i see in the pic, i would almost treat them as a kale vs a collard. do a image search on collards...that's what i think when i think of collards. (forgot to mention to you that collards make a good wrap for "lettuce" wraps, etc.
ReplyDeleteWe got our neighbor's CSA box last week and I was so lost with what to do with it all. WAY TOO MUCH for us (they have a 1/2 share). Not to mention some of the strangest veggies... and the CLEANING! Holy moly, I had to hose them down...and Mike chipped his tooth on a small pebble that I guess didnt get hosed off! However, it was still great to try and, if we do it next year, we'll get a single share. if you have suggestions for recipes with odd veggies like kholorabi or turnips, let me know - or post em here! :)
