Hazelnut cheese cake

A no bake cheese cake, Ferrero Rocher stlye

200 g hazelnut wafers

200 g nutella *

400 g cream cheese, softened

150 g nutella

50 g icing sugar*

300 g heavy cream

100 g semi sweet chocolate

100 g heavy cream

crushed hazelnuts and Ferrero Rocher balls to garnish


Crush your hazelnut wafers into a powder

Mix in room temperature nutella 

Spread carefully into the bottom of a spring form pan

In another bowl mix the cream cheese, nutella, and icing sugar until smooth

Add in the heavy cream and mix again

Spread across the top of the wafer base

Melt the chocolate and heavy cream in the microwave until smooth and then spread over the top

Let it cool until ready to serve

Top the edges with chopped hazelnuts and candy


*this is amazing but surprisingly sweet.  I think I would start cutting back on the nutella in the base (using melted butter if it doesn't combine to make the right texture) and not as much icing sugar in the main chocolate part.  Also used semi sweet chocolate since that's what I had.
