Queso blanco

 This was amazing.  It's quite thick so keep it in a crockpot on warm or in a microwave safe bowl so you can warm it up quickly.  


From Bare Feet in the Kitchen 


1/2 pound white American cheese

2 tbs chopped green chile 

1 tbs chopped pickled jalapeno 

1 tbs liquid from the pickled jalapeno 

1/3 cup milk *

dash of cumin 


Place everything in a microwave safe bowl and melt for 1 minute at a time, stirring between each round, it might take 5 minutes depending on your microwave 

It will thicken as it cools, something about the American cheese, I think

*The original recipe called for water but I left it out after reading the comments.  If you want it thinner, def add it in.
