Hot chocolate lasagna
We had this at our dojo Thanksgiving party where my kids had at least five servings between them. This makes a lot of food so please share it!
From OMG Chocolate desserts
For the crust-
36 Oreos
1/2 cup melted butter
For the hot chocolate mousse layer-
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
3.5 ounces of hot chocolate mix
1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
For the pudding layer-
2 (3.8 ounce) boxes of instant chocolate pudding mix
2 3/4 cups milk
mini chocolate chips
For the whipped cream layer-
1 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
2 tbs powdered sugar
2 cups mini marshmallows
mini chocolate chips
chocolate syrup
Pulse the cookies in a food processor until they are fine crumbs
Pour cookies and melted butter together in a bowl and mix to combine
Press into the bottom of a 13 X 9 inch pan
Store in the freezer while you make the next step
Using a hand mixer, beat together the cream cheese, vanilla and powdered sugar until combined
In another bowl, whip the heavy cream and hot cocoa mix until stiff peaks
Add half the whipped cream to the cream cheese mixture and fold to combine
Add the other half of the whipped cream and repeat
Add to the crust mixture and freeze while you make the next layer
Prepare the pudding mix and add chocolate chips
Add to the cream cheese layer
Freeze until the pudding is set
For the last layer, whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks and add to the top of the pudding layer
Add marshmallows, chocolate chips and chocolate syrup
Can be made ahead and store in the freezer or fridge. If making it 2 or 3 days ahead, skip the marshmallows in the pudding layer, they'll get soggy
