Something different this week
Mr. PB& C is leaving for a trip so I'm without my sous chef. The good news, Nana C has been training the girls on sous chef-ing and cooking once a week. The girls have made us sesame chicken, veggies and rice, roast chicken, biscuits and mashed potatoes, corn and cheese and chile casserole and last week's meal was pasta with spinach and veggies, caesar salad and brownies. The little sous chefs are going to help me out.
In Sunday fashion, the morning and afternoon was spent making all kinds of yummy things.
We found we had only one pancake in the freezer (a staple in our house for before school breakfasts). The man formerly known as the carnivore made blueberry pancakes. We forgot to add the sugar but that's what syrup or blueberry compote is for, right? We also made french toast bake, tortellini pasta salad for lunches and started another batch of sauerkraut.
This week-
Risotto primavera and dumplings with family
Leftovers
Ham and macaroni and cheese casserole
Sandwiches with something on the side
Black bean burrito bowls
and then for the weekend
Gyros and veggies
Take and bake pizza
Spaghetti and meatballs (I made a double batch this week and dinner was suuuuuuper late)
