Homemade Tartar Sauce

Recipe from Simply Recipes.
This was excellent.  I think I added more pickles and a little more mayo than was called for because it was a little on the thin side. 
Be sure to make it ahead of time and let it sit in the fridge for the flavors to meld.  Taste before serving and make adjustments as needed. 

1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup chopped dill pickles
1 teaspoon capers, chopped
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
2 teaspoons chopped shallots
2 Tbsp chopped scallions
juice of one lemon
6 drops Tabasco sauce or more to taste
Salt and pepper to taste

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl.
