Baking bacon
We've found that we really like baking our bacon at home because it needs so much less attention in the oven than on top of the stove.
Line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil and lay out your bacon slices on top.

Cover with a layer of parchment so it doesn't splatter all over your oven.
Put the baking sheet in a cold oven then set the heat to 400 degrees.
Right away, set the timer for 10 minutes and then watch carefully, it might take another minute or so after the timer goes off but there's a fine line between crisp bacon and burned bacon.
Remove from oven and drain on paper towels.
