Marinated beets
I love the marinated beets in the grocery store refrigerated section but I don't like the price. It's beets! And sauce! I've tried several times with both canned beets and beets that I've roasted and have never hit the right combos, until now.
This time I used a can of sliced beets
A little salt and pepper
2-3 tbs red wine vinegar
1/2 tsp sugar
1 tsp of Dijon mustard
Mix everything up in a container and let it sit, overnight if you can (but it's fine after a few hours)
